Hey...its been years..ok about 2years!! just went through all the postings Ive made over the years, some have were hilarious and most just stupid (if i have to say so)...well it was just a case of 'youthfulness' and boredom. I would not delete the blogs for posterity sake!!
We would be toeing a much more serious and matured line with this blog. The state of the nation makes me worry and i muse a lot when I'm alone. So i kind of thought i would put up another blog with a much more matured theme. The title "Random Musings Of a Nigerian Guy" obviously tells you what the scope is like, its basically me trying to share my thoughts and also expecting your suggestions/comments. We keep so much issues bottled up inside us which weighs us down and compounds our already burdened lives ...PHCN, bad roads, unemployment, hungry faces around us, crime, etc......
Considering i have an extensive social network with open access to friends, i would use this opportunity to apologize for any reference made to 'you' and can assure no names would be mentioned. All references to particular situations in my life involving any other person or persons is being used here as just a point of reference, not to smite or goad anyone.
A friend ones commented that bloggers are actually jobless people, i would stand to correct him here again that blogging is a way of public expression and also letting out steam...oh and not forgetting the cash incentives from adverts/traffic. Without trying to prove anything, i spend more time on the internet than i spend anywhere, and with a bad case of insomnia i need something else to take my free hours and get me away from the scrabble site (www.isc.ro ...free advert..lol).
i have garnered lots of information just by reading most blogs and also using it as a marketing avenue ....oh yes....you can check.. .http://naijasales.blogspot.com/ .... we would call this the business blog, there would be weekly business insights, buying and selling of ideas etc.. This blog http://banismind.blogspot.com would be more of lifestyle, current affairs and my musings on living in 'naija'.
All blogs are intended to be interactive so please feel free to drop your comments, suggestions and prospective topics.
I would try to avoid typos and grammatical errors, but would appreciate your understanding if any is noted....thanks
